Token Mithrandir Volunteers Clean Riverbanks in Dhaka – October 3rd

Dhaka, Bangladesh – As part of social and environmental commitments, volunteers from the Token Mithrandir community in Dhaka carried out a riverbank cleanup on October 3rd along one of the city’s important rivers. The effort was led by our local coordinator, Anik Malitha.

Members of the local community participated in the initiative, coming together to collect waste and raise awareness among residents about the importance of protecting natural spaces. The goal was not only to improve the environmental quality of the riverbanks but also to strengthen the sense of belonging and collective responsibility toward the environment.

The work of the volunteers in Bangladesh is part of several initiatives led by Token Mithrandir across different countries, in line with its vision of creating a positive impact beyond the technological and financial spheres. These activities demonstrate how the project’s global community is actively involved in building a more sustainable future.

Through this effort, the Dhaka community shows that the combination of innovation, social commitment, and environmental awareness can bring about meaningful change both locally and internationally. We are growing, we are cleaning riverbanks, and we are strengthening our community.
